About the Department
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.
Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.
Job Responsibilities
The role of transaction services analyst is an intermediate position responsible for providing operation support services for Current Account operations.
Responsibilities:
Provide support daily recon of general ledgers accounts tagged to Payment Operations.
Engage with TSA team and CTSM check clearing team to monitor GL recon and manage discrepancy by identifying root cause and appropriate resolutions.
Create customized reporting to UOB on GL, regulatory reporting and monitors error to ensure adherence to audit and control policies.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made while demonstrating particular consideration to safeguard the bank\'s interest, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Authorize transaction processing and support unit head for any ad hoc projects, system testing - UAT, SIT and PAT.
Ensure adherence to Paynet policies and applying sound judgment on conduct and business practices.
Respond to requests and deliverables from internal and external clients on Paynet related processes - e-SPICK, RENTAS, GIRO, RPP, JomPAY and Direct Debit.Support the unit leads in maintaining controls through manual tabulation of risk assessment and documentation, culminating in timely reporting to UOB stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in any discipline
Previous relevant experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proven organization and time management skills
Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
