Job Description


RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy Exhibit qualities which demonstrate the group&rsquos strategy. To treat Customer&rsquos with Human touch and understand the importance at every business stage and inculcate this aspect in reporting Staff. To support strategic intent, on the growth of business, cross functional advantage and work on cost efficiency. Business To establish and maintain excellent working relationship with the customers to ensure prompt and effective responses to the various business requirements, queries and requests from them. To be aware of the business targets and ensure compliance. To devote special care for the Trade Transaction Owner Clients and ensure service delivery as agreed. To own the business transactions of Clients and ensure completion at all levels/stages on a sustained basis. To assist the implementation and roll out of 1) Trade Data Quality Management Framework. 2) ORF on DQMF for Trade Processes as part of initiatives driven by Group. This role requires good knowledge of Trade Processes and Trade applications (e.g. Trade Port) with close interaction with Technology, Business and stakeholders to manage the delivery of project. Processes Validating of the Data Dictionary for the Critical Data elements with respect to BCBS /Tax /FCC Data Quality analysis for the countries being automated, validating the data with country business team / champion to address the data issue. Work closely with country team to track the progress of the DQ and submit progress report to the GPO /PSC periodically Provide support by reviewing the reports and ensuring accuracy and completeness of the data sourced from various systems Documentation of the key controls for review, approval and sign off by GPO Operational/Financial Reconciliation of reports from the Upstream system with the Trade Port to ensure accuracy, correctness and completeness of the data flowing into the system. Assist in control gap analysis and recommend and remediation of control gaps Assist in implementation of ORF related to Data quality Management Framework by defining failure points, Gross risk assessment, design of controls, Control sample testing (CST), Key control indicators, Key risk indicators etc. Assist in Uploading of the revised ORF in Knox /Optial by reviewing country templates for sign off and approval by GPO. Assist in reviewing the test results of ORF from countries post implementation. Ensure Service Level agreements are signed off between Upstream and Down Stream Process owners (Trade Port and other interfaces) for Data Quality Provide support to prepare the country pack with DQ results, Financial reconciliation report, Accuracy of the data attributes working closely with the country for review and sign-off Follow through, guide the country and business team for rectification of the issues identified in the DQ and Reconciliation report Support adhoc request for data extract or queries from business stakeholder and other users Ensure and monitor the changes being implemented in production are not impacting the existing production countries People and Talent To ensure Staff in the team are being utilized to their optimum levels and derive maximum output. To ensure proper planning of Staffing for seamless service delivery. Good understanding of Trade Processes and Trade Applications (DTP, OTP, LTP), interfacing systems, Data Warehouse reporting Knowledge of MS office, Power point presentation Highly motivated individuals with a strong track record of achievement, especially in Trade & Risk areas Able to creatively apply analytical solutions to issues identified through various channels Ability to work under constant pressure to tight deadlines and deliver high quality output Excellent troubleshooting skills, Good analytical skills. Ability to work independently Good communication and interpersonal skills Good team working and motivation skills to achieve excellent performance Change management /governance of programmes at country/regional/group level To ensure planned leaves and enough back-ups created for seamless business delivery. To ensure on-going training for Staff on the DOI, process upgrades and deputing them for product related trainings. To ensure the motivation levels of the Staff is kept high always. To encourage Staff to participate in C3, CSR activities. Risk Management Upholding the Values of the Group and Company at all times. Compliance with all applicable Rules/ Regulations and Company and Group Policies. To identify risk on a continual basis and derive mitigants on a sustained basis. Lead the Trade Operations Team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank&rsquos Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients Effective Financial Markets Financial Crime Compliance The Right Environment. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Key Stakeholders To effectively manage key stakeholders, Country Offices, Regulators, Superiors, Peers, Subordinates. Other Responsibilities To encourage Continuous Improvement initiatives for simplifying of the processes, procedures applying LEAN techniques. Convert opportunities and derive/record tangible results. To encourage standardization opportunities. To actively participate in the C3 initiatives, lead by example to Staff. To enthusiastically participate in the Quality initiatives of the organization and achieve expected results at workplace. Our Ideal Candidate Academic Qualification: Bcom / MCom / MBA / BE with relevant experience of 10+ years Relevant Trade Certification such as CDCS, CSDG, CTF as applicable to the role. In depth core system and interface knowledge Trade Level II & III certification completion. AML & Sanctions Training, yearly certification.
