Why does this job exist and why is it critical?\xe2\x80\x8bAs a Systems Engineer, you will be a member of our engineering team which is responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining new and existing systems and infrastructure of our cloud environment. This includes ensuring that the system runs smoothly and efficiently and resolving any technical issues that may arise.What are you accountable for?

• Managing all installed systems and infrastructure
• Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, system software and system management tools as a member of project implementation team
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Plan and maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide 2nd level support
• Liaise with vendors, partners and other IT personnel in trouble shooting and problem resolution
• Provide technical consultancy for sales team such that IT infrastructure requirement of projects are successfully met and implemented
• Proven ability to multi-tasking, prioritize tasks assigned and deliver results in a timely manner in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Proactive and timely problem escalation to management, vendors, partners and customers
• Perform other works (e.g., documentation) as instructed when required

What do you need for the role?

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science or relevant field or industry certifications
• Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and emerging computing trends which include laaS, PaaS, SaaS cloud offering
• Understanding of common database technologies such as SQL Database/Server, Oracle, MySQL
• Experience in Microsoft 365 technologies (MDM, Intunes, Defender, Entra..etc ), AD, Exchange, Teams Calling & Azure Cloud technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skill, technical writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think strategically about troubleshooting and solutions to technical issues and incidents
• Able to show characteristics of passion, dedication and commitment to daily duties
• Willingness and ability to work with teams, ability to build relationships using an open and respectful communication and collaboration style and ability to share knowledge
