Job Description

Responsibilities: Seeking Middleware Administrator with good technical knowledge in IBM WebSphere Application Server/Oracle WebLogic and WebSphere MQ Responsibilities include ongoing support and administration of web base applications, providing technical assistance and consulting to end-users and application developers, developing and maintaining tools for managing the server infrastructure and troubleshooting high-profile performance issues utilizing root-cause analysis and implement approriate plan for problem resolution. \xef\x82\xb7 The candidate must be able to work as a member of the support team in providing timely and efficient support to assigned operations. \xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate day-to-day operations and maintenance of a critical middleware applications (MQ, IBM WAS/ Oracle WebLogic) \xef\x82\xb7 Collaborate in assessing current and expected application needs, configuration, maintenance, optimization and documentation. \xef\x82\xb7 Follow and apply configuration and security standards and policies within a defined Change Management process. \xef\x82\xb7 Assist with implementing solutions for web base applications; Implement common preventive maintenance practices for web applications and ensure that system improvements and changes are implemented correctly and completely, and monitor all effects of the modifications. \xef\x82\xb7 Administrator in Middleware software such as IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle WebLogic Server and IBM MQ \xef\x82\xb7 Apply Middleware software patches and maintain at least N-2 patch version \xef\x82\xb7 Manage and renew SSL certificates Requirements: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent \xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server (IBM WAS) or Oracle WebLogic and related technology such as Apache. \xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of, and/or hands-on experience with IBM MQ \xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge in SSL cert generation and installation \xef\x82\xb7 Good knowledge in Unix command \xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge in Java programming would be added advantage. \xef\x82\xb7 Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills and problem identification.
