L1/L2 Support Engineer providing day-to-day support for Middleware across Cloud and On-Prem setup.
As a Support Engineer, you will be the go-to liaison responsible for solving our stakeholder\xe2\x80\x99s cases and arming them with required tools and techniques to help them get the most out of OCBC services.
You will be at the forefront of our system support, and key to the prevention, detection, and recovery of incidents.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support on full stack of OCBC Middleware services in technology areas including Kafka, hardware security modules and 2FA/Software Token, Tibco.
Proactively review system health, business volumes and trends for abnormalities. Take early prevention actions to avoid service disruptions.
Monitor and troubleshoot application issues.
Improve and automate detection and initiate prevention initiatives for recurring problems.
Occasionally support ongoing project implementations
Support Disaster Recovery testing and related setup.
Vendor management
Manage infrastructure setup in local Data Centre.
QualificationsRequirements
3-6 years of experience in a support role, preferably within a financial organisation
Knowledge of client-server, 3-tier architecture web applications & distributed systems.
Functional understanding of Message Queuing, Application security, API implementation, event hubs and tools
System administration experience with troubleshooting OS, application logs and knowledge of networking, storage, etc. required to address system level issues.
Work under minimal supervision & take ownership of Middleware incidents end to end.
Demonstrated willingness and capability to learn, assimilate, and act upon large amounts of information rapidly.
