Job Description

Job Title:

Windows Server & VMware Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, diagnose, and resolve escalated incidents on

Windows Server platforms

Escalate cases to L3 Infrastructure/Application teams when required Perform server operations such as

setup, upgrades, patch deployment, monitoring, health checks, backups, and restores

Troubleshoot system performance issues and optimize server performance Prepare and maintain

technical documentation

Provide support for

servers, hypervisors, and storage systems

Liaise with external vendors for server and storage operations and maintenance Ensure SLA fulfillment and meet customer expectations as part of

managed services

Required Knowledge / Skills:

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science

or related discipline

2+ years

experience in

Windows Servers, VMware, x86 servers, and storage

ITIL Foundation or higher is a plus Self-motivated, quick learner, and able to work under pressure Good written and verbal communication skills in

English

Cantonese

is a plus Knowledge in

SAN infrastructure, SiteScope, Active Directory, and VMware

is advantageous Willingness to work

night shifts and public holidays

SAN Infrastructure Knowledge (at least one):

IBM DS5020, EXP520, EXP400, 2498-B24 SAN Switch Dell MD3620f, MD3820F, MD3200i, ME4024, PowerVault MD1000 Lenovo S2200 Storage StorageTek L700E, L80 tape library HPE MSA500 G2 Fibre Channel switch zoning, WWPN management, SAN fabric optimization

Operating Systems:

Windows NT 4.0, Server 2000-2022, Windows 11 Pro, Active Directory

Virtualization & Monitoring:

VMware ESXi 4.0-8 Dell VxRail 4.5 SiteScope

Certifications Preferred:

IBM Certified System Expert HP Certified IT Professional Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert ITIL Foundation
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month

Experience:

Windows Servers, VMware, x86 servers, and storage: 1 year (Required) ITIL Foundation or higher: 1 year (Preferred) SAN infrastructure, SiteScope, Active Directory, and VMware: 1 year (Preferred) Virtualization & Monitoring:: 1 year (Preferred) Operating Systems: 1 year (Preferred)
