We're assisting our client in hiring:

Job Title:

Cloud Migration Engineer

(1 Year Fixed Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing migration solutions covering: Compute (VM/Kubernetes), Storage (Object Storage/File Storage), Databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and Landing Zone architecture. Collaborate with customer migration teams to provide ongoing technical support and migration services. Promptly respond to customer inquiries and relay feedback to Tencent Cloud team. Participate in the entire migration project delivery process including Proof of Concept (PoC) testing, implementation, and cutover phases. Complete delivery tasks according to project timelines.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years

of public cloud experience (

cloud migration delivery

experience preferred). Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with teams to complete assigned delivery tasks.

Familiarity

with at least one major cloud platform (

AWS/GCP/Azure

) including their core products and solutions. Working knowledge of AWS/GCP/Azure products, such as MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, Object storage (S3/Blob/GCS), Kubernetes, Kafka, etc. Understanding of cloud migration tools, such as

AWS DMS

/DTS/DataSync, GCP DMS/Transfer Service,

Azure DMS

.

Proficiency

in at least one programming language (

Python/Go/Java preferred

). Strong English documentation skills to independently complete project migration documentation. Fluent English communication skills for effective customer interactions.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
