Key responsibilities:



1. Lead, supervise, and train the mixing team to ensure efficient operations.

2. Coordinate work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance.

3. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and safety protocols.

4. Oversee the preparation and mixing of raw materials according to specified formulations.

5. Ensure the correct proportions of ingredients are used to achieve desired product quality.

6. Monitor and adjust mixing processes to maintain consistency and meet production targets.

7. Conduct quality checks on mixed products to ensure they meet company standards.

8. Address and rectify any deviations or defects in the mixing process.

9. Maintain accurate records of batch formulations and quality control tests.

10. Ensure all mixing equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.

11. Coordinate with the maintenance team for regular servicing and repairs.

12. Implement and oversee cleaning and sanitation procedures for mixing equipment.

13. Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations within the mixing department.

14. Conduct regular safety training sessions and audits.

15. Respond to and investigate any safety incidents or accidents.

16. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and initiate reorders as necessary.

17. Maintain accurate records of material usage and stock levels.

18. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials.

19. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.

20. Collaborate with the R&D department for formulation updates and new product development.

21. Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in mixing processes.

22. To perform any other duties assigned by superiors.

Requirements

:

1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.

2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in paint or chemical mixing.

3. Hands-on experience with mixing equipment and processes.

4. Strong leadership and team management skills.

5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

6. Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in manufacturing.

7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
