Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and deploy world-class Android apps. \xe2\x80\xa2 Build new features by working closely with product managers and designers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Integrate apps with backend systems and APIs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Produce reusable, scalable code and maintain a high level of code quality. \xe2\x80\xa2 Write unit test cases to adhere to code quality standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with key stakeholders to understand requirements, identify solutions, and determine feasibility and timelines. \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyse and optimise app performance and reliability by working closely with your team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Follow best practices alongside your team for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including processes and conventions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Implement new technologies and approaches to improve productivity. \xe2\x80\xa2 Regularly communicate with engineering leads on project and delivery status. \xe2\x80\xa2 Independently manage own timelines and deliverables to meet business goals. \xe2\x80\xa2 Keep abreast with the latest mobile trends. Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Mastery in Kotlin or Java for Android; and/or \xe2\x80\xa2 High level of proficiency in Android frameworks and best practices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven ability to ship beautiful, highly-performing Android apps from start to finish. \xe2\x80\xa2 Highly proficient in using Git as version control system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in Play Store publishing and Firebase Distribution for application testing. \xe2\x80\xa2 A minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar capacity. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with Dependency Injection, Services and/or Retrofit Interceptors
