POSITION TITLE: MOORING / LOADING MASTER
LOCATION: MALAYSIA
EMPLOYMENT TYPE : CONTRACT BASIS
CANDIDATE: LEGAL RIGHT TO WORK IN MALAYSIA
Mooring/Loading Master shall be onboard the vessel to discharge the following duties and responsibilities:
a) Pilotage of incoming vessel from waiting area or pilot boarding to a position at the stern of the facility for the purpose of making fast to the facility.
b) The mooring master may be required to perform vessel maneuver as specified in the documentation provided by Company to Contractor (Marine Terminal Handbook)
c) Coordinate/supervise the tandem mooring and unmooring of tanker utilizing support vessels supplied by Company for berthing assistance
d) Ensure that the vessel is fully maneuverable without any limitations before piloting the vessel to moor and secure to facility.
e) Upon completion of loading and when the vessel is ready to sail, the Mooring Master shall unmoor the vessel and navigate the vessel to a safe location clear of the facility, oil platforms, structures, barges, buoys and other objects in and around the oilfield, avoiding any \xe2\x80\x9cNo Go\xe2\x80\x9d areas, before disembarking to return to the facility.
f) Maintain close liaison with the Facility\'s cargo control room during cargo operation
g) Supervise the connection and disconnection of cargo hoses as and when required by Company
h) Ensure the proper use of equipment and tools belonging to company which include all navigational or position fixing equipment.
i) Lead pre-offloading safety meeting on board of the lifting tanker.
j) Supervise and coordinate loading operation including all Environmental requirements including but limited to MARPOL
k) Ensure correct documentation procedures of crude/hydrocarbons loaded into Vessel\'s cargo tanks
l) Ensure that the safety health and environment rules regulations, policy, procedures, practices and standards of the company or its client (to be determined by company for the applicable facility or the worksite) are complied with in order to achieve a safe loading operation.
m) Advise the offshore Installation Manager or the master of the facility on action to take in event of adverse weather condition that may result in the vessel moving towards the facility
n) Safe handling of Vessel with the observance of good seamanship
o) Observance of safe practice and marking judicious judgment while performing his duty with the objective of keeping risks as low as reasonably practicable
p) Implementing ISPS/Security within FPSO and export tanker as per Marine Facility Security Plan
q) Monitoring the preparation of mooring area and tanker crew tasks in ensuring risks have been identified and safe operations are adhered to.
