Role Overview

The

Murex Datamart & Report Developer

will be responsible for delivering project requirements related to

Murex MX3.1 Datamart configurations, data extractions, interfaces, and reporting

. This role supports regulatory, treasury, and risk reporting needs while ensuring high-quality delivery across all SDLC phases.

Key Responsibilities

Murex Datamart & Reporting

Design, develop, and support

Murex MX3.1 Datamart configurations and reports

. Develop scalable and flexible

data extraction and transmission programs

. Build and optimize

SQL-based reports and extractions

. Work on

simulation-based, risk matrix, and complex Datamart reports

. Optimize

feeders, reporting tables, batch feeders, and processing scripts

. Understand and manage

data model differences between MX2.11 and MX3.1

.

Treasury & Product Knowledge

Strong knowledge of

Treasury products

: FX / Money Market (CURR) Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD) Credit (CRE) Commodities (COMM) Equities (EQD) Supply Chain Finance (SCF) Perform reconciliation across

IRS, CCS, Bonds, FX, Commodities, Credit, Cash Flow, Income

, and other asset classes. Understand

end-to-end product lifecycle flows

across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office.

SDLC & Testing Responsibilities

Participate in all SDLC phases including

Design, Build, UT, ST, SIT, and UAT

. Prepare and maintain: Detailed Level Design (DLD) Unit Test (UT) and System Test (ST) plans and scripts Technical and user documentation Perform coding, debugging, defect fixing, and re-testing. Act as a

checker/reviewer

for system test scripts and code reviews. Ensure compliance with

IT standards, SDLC policies, coding standards, and IT security guidelines

.

Defect Management & Support

Analyse and resolve defects in collaboration with Testing, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects. Log and track defects using defect tracking tools. Provide application support during

warranty and post go-live

periods. Liaise with Support teams and conduct system handover and training sessions.

Project & Stakeholder Coordination

Drive

functional and technical workshops

and guide stakeholders. Support

impact analysis and estimation

for IT Service Requests (ITSRs). Manage changes and enhancements planned within release cycles. Report ITSR status, risks, and issues to the Project Manager and EAD teams. Work closely with Project Manager and Development Managers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in

Computer Science, Software Engineering

, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

4-6 years

of hands-on experience in

Murex Development

, preferably in

Banking/Treasury environments

.

Required Experience & Skills

Murex Technical Expertise

Strong experience in

Murex MX3.1 Datamart Development

(2-6 years). Experience with

MX2.11 and MX3.1

environments. Hands-on experience with: Datamart Configuration & Development mXML workflows, templates, and data dictionary Processing scripts and

Control-M

configurations Good understanding of

error handling and reconciliation processes

Technical Skills

SQL (advanced reporting and extraction) Strong programming and debugging skills Experience with: Dynamic tables Pre/post filters Feeders and batch processing Reporting tables

Soft Skills

Strong analytical, design, and estimation skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams Result-oriented with strong time management

Nice-to-Have

Experience in

Datamart migration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
