Network Dealer Development Manager Automotive

Job Description


Responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the dealer network to enhance the company\'s market presence, improve customer experience, and achieve sales objectives. This role involves strategic planning, execution of dealer network expansion, performance management, and fostering strong relationshipsDealer Network Strategy:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for expanding and optimizing the dealer network in line with the company\'s growth objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential regions for new dealerships and evaluate market penetration opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align dealer network strategy with overall company goals.
Performance Management:
  • Monitor and analyze dealer performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, customer satisfaction, service quality, and profitability.
  • Develop and execute dealer performance improvement plans, including training programs, best practice sharing, and support initiatives.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and procedures.
Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer principals and management teams to foster loyalty and ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and its dealer network, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and facilitating open communication.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, after-sales, and finance teams, to support dealer needs and align efforts.
Market and Competitor Analysis:
  • Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to understand industry trends, identify gaps, and adjust the dealer network strategy accordingly.
  • Evaluate competitive positioning and dealer network activities of rival brands, recommending adjustments to maintain a competitive edge.
Growing automotive OEM|Good remuneration package
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A Master\'s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in automotive industry for dealer development, network management, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive retail operations, dealer management, and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and managing dealer networks, including experience with new dealer appointments and terminations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
