Job Description

Our client is a leading Infraco and IT & Telecommunication company specializing in mono-poles, tower infrastructure, teleport services, fiber optic network deployment, 5G expansion, VSAT solutions for rural areas, tower station maintenance, and marine antenna installations. They are currently seeking a proficient Network Engineer in Satellite Communications to maintain and support their network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess a strong grasp of networking technologies, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and administration of our client\'s network infrastructure, ensuring it aligns effectively with the organization\'s requirements.:

• Designing and deploying scalable network architectures and wireless networks.
• Installing and configuring network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load
• balancers.
• Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborating with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve intricate network challenges.
• Implementing robust network security protocols to safeguard data, systems, and networks.
• Documenting network configurations, procedures, and operational processes. Offering technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.
• Staying current with advancements in networking technologies, recommending upgrades an enhancement as necessary.

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Demonstrated track record as a Network Engineer in satellite telecommunication or in a comparable role.
• Practical experience with networking hardware and software
• Proficient in network security principles and hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar qualifications are advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to do presentations and reports
• Have a good command in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Willingness to travel for work as needed
