Network Engineer

We are looking for a Network Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and administering our clients networks infrastructure. Your primary duties will include maintenance of networks hardware, network software, and other related systems. You will also be working closely with Solution Team to deploy network services according to design.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired.

Network Engineer Responsibilities:

Deploy enterprise/campus network service at customer premise according to design document inclusive but not limited to Core Switch, Aggregation Switch, Access Switch, Firewall, Router, Wireless AP, Wireless Controller, Network Access Control using 802.1x etc Maintaining and administering client network equipments. Handle support request from client for any network related issue Create and Update ticketing system Onsite support service whenever required. Work out of office hours if needed.

Network Engineer Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Information Technology related field of study or equivalent Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions. Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers, load balancer Good Knowledge of network infrastructure protocols like ICMP, STP, VLAN, OSPF, NAT, DNS, DHCP, 802.1x, AAA, Radius etc. Have Experience in Network Deployment of Cisco/HP/Aruba/Fortinet equipment. Able to troubleshoot issue related to VLAN, STP , WLAN, Firewall Policy, DHCP, DNS, Routing etc. Knowledge in Campus SDN network. Knowledge in BGP and MPLS is added advantage. Knowledge in 802.1x setup with Cisco ISE/ Aruba Clearpass or equivalent product is added advantage. Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems. Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection. Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources. Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization. A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Dependable and flexible when necessary. Network security experience. LAN and WAN experience. Minimum CCNA/HCIA or equivalent certification. Advantange for CCNP/HCIP or equivaent certification holder
