Job Description

Responsibilities:

Responsible for IT data centre infrastructures and network architecture designs.

Responsible for GEO distributed architectures and Disaster Recovery Infrastructure.

Responsible for Cloud Infrastructure architectures relating to SaaS.

Planning and implementation of IT architecture globally ranging from cloud deployments, new servers to deploying network infrastructure.

Ensure system capacity is within the threshold and oversee or execute capacity expansion exercise.

Manage global and local vendors to ensure compliance in providing service and support.

Provide weekly management reports on the status of our network infrastructure.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computing/information technology or equivalent.

At least 3 years' experience in an IT infrastructure and Technical Support role.

Must be proficient with Windows, Virtual environments and Linux.

This role requires the person to plan, manage and maintain global IT network infrastructure (including servers and databases) to support SaaS platform.

Strong Networking configuration and troubleshooting experience.

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, MS SQL Server, DNS, IIS, Cloud computing and .NET technologies. Also, backup services and Disaster Recovery.

Able to configure, manage, support and troubleshoot Cloud Infrastructure services such as AWS and Azure.

Knowledge of VSPHERE, NGINX, Firewalls, SYNOLOGY are helpful but not necessary.

Implementation knowledge of IoT technology and RFID/Bluetooth will be an added advantage.

Possession of Microsoft MCSE and CCNA certifications is an advantage.

Strong technical hands-on skills and exceptional problem-solving ability.

Desire and interest in learning new technologies, products and IT trends.

Fluency in both written and spoken English.

Able to write technical documentation.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
