Have proven hands-on experience as a networking or field technician with focus on hardware and cabling systems.
Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel frequently to client or project sites.

Be physically fit and capable of working outdoors, at heights, or in confined spaces, and able to lift and carry equipment.
Preferably hold professional certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent.

Install, configure, and maintain networking hardware and cabling systems: Set up routers, switches, access points, antennas, racks, and structured cabling to provide secure and reliable connectivity across client and internal environments.
Perform fieldwork and outdoor installations: Carry out on-site tasks such as running cables, mounting equipment, and deploying wireless networks in diverse conditions including rooftops, underground spaces, and outdoor facilities.
Conduct site surveys and troubleshoot issues: Assess infrastructure needs at project sites, identify networking requirements, and resolve hardware or connectivity problems by repairing cabling, replacing faulty devices, and ensuring minimal downtime.
Document technical activities and collaborate with teams: Maintain accurate records of installations, wiring layouts, and maintenance work while working closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients to support network deployments and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with safety and provide on-site support: Follow safety standards when working outdoors or at heights, use protective equipment, and deliver professional service and customer support during installation and maintenance visits.

Skills and Competencies:
Networking Hardware Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking devices such as routers, switches, wireless access points, and antennas. This includes installation, configuration, and ensuring hardware reliability in different environments.
Cabling Standards and Physical Layer Skills: Proficiency in structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics) with the ability to terminate, test, and troubleshoot cables to industry standards.
Technical Tools Proficiency: Skilled in using field tools and equipment such as cable testers, crimping tools, drills, ladders, and safety gear, with the ability to apply them effectively during installations and maintenance.
Documentation and Diagram Interpretation: Ability to create and maintain accurate installation records, wiring layouts, and technical documentation, as well as interpret network diagrams and schematics.
