Job Description


Location: Menara TRX Work Schedule: 12 hours shift, rotation schedule Basic Salary: RM4000 and above Shift Allowance: RM300 fixed Qualification

  • Years of experience: At least 5-7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Telecom. Significant part of this experience must be in the Telecom Network.
  • Qualifications: Min Degree in Electrical Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering
Skills Required
  • Certifications: Any Certification related to Telecom shall be an added advantage.
  • Technical and/or functional skills: GSM & CDMA Knowledge, Telecom Service Network, Service Application characteristics, Implementation & integration of processes. People Management, Interpersonal skills, Customer Relationship Management
  • Leadership skills: People Management, Leader attributes
  • Language skills: Proficiency in Written & Spoken English & Malay
  • Values and behaviors: Ericsson Core Values, Honesty, Integrity, Positive Attitude, Ability to handle pressure & work in a tough environment
  • Knowledge of programming language like SQL, Perl
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for day to day operational performance.
  • To lead the team as one coherent unit and deliver as per SLAs.
  • Planning for and ensuring team members\xe2\x80\x99 competence enhancement
  • Ensuring KPI / SLA Fulfillment related to Network Surveillance & 1st Level troubleshooting of the events taking place on the network
  • Review of Performance Metrics for the shift resources and implementation of Corrective & Preventive actions if required
  • Ensuring high motivation level of team resources
  • Attrition Management
  • Providing Technical guidance and Leadership to the team members
  • Participates in internal technical discussions in view to improve overall network performance and make recommendations wherever possible.
  • To be able to interface with Interface with the other organizational entities like FSO, DPO, Projects, 3PP, Customer Support, Customer etc
  • To handle and analyze Trouble Tickets and recommend timely actions and solutions to Trouble Tickets when necessary.
  • To predict man-power requirements
  • Regular follow up on the events with relevant departments working on it as per the process.
  • Supporting Customer and internal L2 teams in case of war-rooms, special events etc. with timely updates of the event
  • Managing War-room from L1 side, creating chronology and initial incident reports in case of critical/major events
