DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Nursing Leadership and Management

oPlay a leading role as a resource person in an effective way of managing the Nursing Department.

oLead and manage the day-to-day operations of Nursing Department.

2.Manpower Management and Development

oPlan an effective and efficient manpower planning in accordance to the MOH guidelines and standards.

oPlan proper scheduling based on the staff grades, skill mix and competencies.

oMotivate, develop, train and continuous upgrade the skills and knowledge of care staff.

3. Resource Management

oResponsible for proper management of resources which is cost effective, meet quality and productivity.

oEvaluate the effective and efficient use of consumables, supplies, dressing materials and diapers.

oMaintain and upkeep a proper inventory control with regular inspection and audits.

4. Clinical Nursing Quality and Safety

oLead the team in delivering consistent and excellent clinical and service quality to residents and sponsors.

oResponsible for the clinical quality of all residents guided by the set 4 Zeros clinical indicators - Zero Falls, Zero Medication Errors, Zero Nursing Home Acquired Pressure Ulcers and Zero Nursing Home acquired infection.

oProvide adequate supervision of all staff in carrying out their responsibilities in accordance with MOH guidelines, protocols and standards operating procedures.

oInitiate, lead and implement quality improvement projects in Nursing Department.

5. Centre Operations

oCollaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow of Nursing Department.

oWork closely with operations colleagues to upkeep and maintain the building facilities and equipment including facilitate in resolving facility issues.

6. Feedback Management

oInvestigate and resolve all feedback and complaints received from sponsors and residents.

oAssist in any investigation that is escalated to HQ.

oEscalate any unfavourable and unresolved feedback to HQ.

7. Other Duties

oAssume any other additional responsibilities as assigned by Country Director/Centre Manager.

oProvide coaching, training and counselling of staff.

oPerform annual appraisal for all staff.

oProvide timely submissions of appropriate report to the respective departments.

oMaintain good communication skills with residents and sponsors.

oTo ensure submission of the Nursing periodical report to update management on the overall Nursing Department and enhancement required from time to time based on the compiled data.

oTo ensure that we comply with all the requirements of the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) and facilitate the license renewal process.

oTo ensure cleanliness of all wards as per Group established hygiene standard.

oPerforms any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
