Role Purpose:

This is a dual-skilled role designed for nutritionists who aspire to expand their career into eye health and optical retail. As part of Optisaver's

"Health + Vision = Lifestyle Care"

philosophy, the Nutritionist cum Vision Expert will combine professional nutrition knowledge with specialized training in optical dispensing, customer consultation, and eyewear solutions. The role ensures customers not only enjoy clear, comfortable vision but also receive holistic lifestyle advice that enhances long-term eye health.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Experience & Eye Health Advisory

Welcome customers and conduct lifestyle-based consultations that include both vision and general wellness factors. Educate customers on nutrition's role in eye health (e.g., macular health, dry eyes, diabetic eye care). Guide customers in frame, lens, and accessory selection with a consultative approach. Provide after-sales support, adjustments, and follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.

2. Optical Measurement & Dispensing (Vision Expert Pathway)

Learn and apply optical fundamentals: PD, pupillary height, fitting heights, prescription interpretation. Assist in fitting, adjusting, and dispensing frames and lenses to customers. Verify lab orders and perform quality control checks. Stay updated on new lens technologies, optical products, and fitting methods.

3. Sales & Performance

Achieve personal and outlet sales targets through professional consultation and upselling (premium lenses, coatings, and accessories). Track customer journey and conversion rates, contributing to outlet KPIs. Drive cross-selling opportunities: eye supplements, eye care nutrition, healthy snacks.

4. Professionalism & Compliance

Adhere to Optisaver SOPs and Malaysian Optical Council/Medical Device regulations. Maintain accurate records: prescriptions, nutrition notes, fitting logs. Uphold Optisaver's service quality, ethical practices, and community-based care mission.

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
