Provide primary medical care in compliance to Company medical and health practices for personnel at offshore locations.
Provide medical emergency management as per Company medical and health practices and in consultation with the Emergency Physician appointed by the Company, including resuscitation, stabilization and pre-hospital care to ensure casualties are adequately treated and complications avoided.
Participate in all Emergency Response Team simulated emergency drills and exercises and provide continuous evaluation of procedures and response to meet high standard of readiness.
Provide primary health care services at offshore locations, including:
Worksite hygiene inspection.
Vector control.
Control of communicable diseases.
Potable water quality assurance.
Food handling and catering assurance to ensure the workplaces and environment are healthy and conducive.
Manage offshore clinic operations:
Inventory of drugs, medical supplies and equipment.
Clinical waste disposal.
Maintenance and inspection of medical equipment and drugs.
Manage dangerous drugs offshore as per Company medical and health practices and in compliance with the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
Maintain record of all personnel on board at all times including name, affiliation, title and location.
To perform general radio operator duties including helicopter and boat operations
To serve as offshore focal point for air and marine logistics
Serve as the HLO (Helicopter Landing Officer) during helicopter operations.
Knowledge & Qualifications:
Minimum of 8-year experience as general medical practitioner
Minimum of 5-year experience working as Radio Operator cum Medical Assistant (Offshore Medic) at offshore production facilities.
Recognized educational certificate or industry obtained certificate as follows;
