Job Summary

An opportunity exists for a (Vendor Managed Resource) Senior Analyst Desktop and Technical Support to join the dedicated and high-performing Technology team. Reporting to the Onsite Technical Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing remote technical support, training, and guidance to colleagues who are based in our client\'s Japanese offices. This position works closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders and other IT staff both locally and globally. The position will be based in the client\'s Kuala Lumpur office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responding to requests within a timely manner with appropriate level of urgency and follows up with customers on all issues.
  • Escalates and coordinates Service Desk requests to appropriate support groups.
  • Assists in the installation, training, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of desktop technology hardware and software.
  • Administer user accounts via Active Directory and other related tools.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory of local hardware assets.
  • Ad hoc project work involving the application of systems analysis techniques, researching technology options and user consultation.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology or related area will be well regarded
  • Highly motivated and proactive with a passion for technology and providing excellent customer service and follow up to key stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in a Global Service Desk environment or similar.
  • Experience with maintaining a network environment and working within a team to achieve timely completion of tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse stakeholdproblem-solving
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows-based Operating Systems in addition to the Apple Mac Operating System.
  • Knowledge of standard PC software/applications (ie. MS Office, Anti-Virus, Email, Instant Messaging, Drive Encryptions, etc).
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environments
  • Solid understanding of remote connectivity issues, such as VPN and wireless networking
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management for Android, and iOS devices
