The Junior Administrative Officer provides administrative and clerical support to the Immigration Office, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role involves handling documentation, data entry, customer assistance, and coordination with internal teams while maintaining compliance with immigration procedures and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing, processing, and filing immigration-related documents and applications
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in internal systems
Handle front counter duties, including attending to walk-in clients and responding to inquiries
Support officers with appointment scheduling and document verification
Manage correspondence (emails, letters, phone calls) and follow up on pending cases
Maintain proper filing systems (physical and digital)
Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information
Assist in general office administration tasks as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum
Diploma
in Business Administration or related field
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, email)
Good communication skills in
Bahasa Malaysia
; English is an added advantage
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
Experience in administrative or clerical roles
Familiarity with government or immigration procedures (added advantage)
Customer service skills and professional attitude
