Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Source and manage reliable suppliers for chicken, beef, vegetables, sugar, and rice. Negotiate pricing, volumes, delivery schedules, and quality standards. Manage the full operational cycle from supplier to warehouse, distributor, and end consumer. Coordinate logistics, cold chain (where applicable), storage, and transportation. Execute commodity trading operations within approved margins and risk parameters. Monitor market prices, demand trends, and competitor movements. Work closely with Accounts & Finance on costing, margin analysis, payments, and settlements. Ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations, food safety standards, and import/export requirements. Lead operations staff, warehouse teams, and logistics partners.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in agro-commodity trading operations. Proven experience managing medium to large-scale trading volumes. Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, inventory, and commodity trading Experience in Malaysia-based operations is strongly preferred.
