Why Join Ranpak An opportunity to be involved in the high-growth sector of sustainable packaging solutions across a broad range of industrial and market segments To have an opportunity for outstanding career development To secure an attractive compensation and benefits package PURPOSE The Operation Planner will be responsible for availability of local produced and imported finished goods, managing raw components is also a key responsibilities REPORTING The Operation Planner reports to Deputy Plant Manager and in matrix to the Managing Director, APAC. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain a high service level for all items Maintain acceptable finished inventory levels in line with the demand Manage raw material planning & inventory Resolve daily issues that come up Collaborate with other departments to create most efficient planning Work towards continuous improvement related to the planning process MAIN TASKS Support Operations with regard to planning issues Correct transformation of quotations to orders for paper and machines Creating warehouse orders and production orders for machines Determine the correct order sizes with regard to maximum dimensions and weight for combinations of different kinds of paper, machines and modes of transportation Collect and combine sales orders, service orders, marketing attributes, etc Process order changes Respond to questions from Innersales, Marketing, Operations, etc. Support Master Production Scheduler in all attentive tasks Maintain a high service level for all items ranging from converter parts to finished paper and converters Maintain acceptable inventory levels in line with the demand Manage demand planning and forecasting activities Responsible for managing new converter planning Evaluate and report on KPIs Resolve daily issues that come up Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth Work towards continuous improvement related to the planning process with the Supply Chain Planning team Lead, support and guide the supply chain planning team Any other tasks assigned by superior. PROFILE Bachelor degree or equal experience. At least 5 year experience as Operation Planner in a production environment. Proven knowledge of ISO9001 quality management system. Convincing and professional towards customers, suppliers and colleagues Independent worker but also team player. Way of thinking aimed at problem solving. Analytical and observant. Hands on attitude. Must be able to communicate (read, write, speak) in English and Bahasa Malaysia a plus Good knowledge in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of paper is preferred.
