Roles and Responsibilities: \xef\x82\xb7 Shall coordinate actions to be taken as per the emergency response plan. \xef\x82\xb7 Shall be responsible to ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with the industry regulations, code of practices, COMPANY\xe2\x80\x99s requirements and the CONTRACTOR\xe2\x80\x99s Manuals and the CONTRACT. \xef\x82\xb7 Shall be appointed in writing by the CONTRACTOR. \xef\x82\xb7 Shall liaise with the COMPANY Site Representative to ensure timely completion of all WORK ordered by COMPANY. \xef\x82\xb7 During an operation, the Superintendent shall monitor and chart progress, update the Project Schedule, brief and de-brief his inspection and reporting team during shift changes, update instructions as to inspection WORK and keep the COMPANY Site Representative advised of the progress of the WORK at all times. \xef\x82\xb7 Shall be responsible for ensuring that proper records are maintained and that all required reports are prepared accurately and submitted to the COMPANY Site Representative for approval. \xef\x82\xb7 Shall ensure the IMCA Competence Assurance and Assessment is available for the Project Team. Qualifications and Competencies: \xef\x82\xb7 Minimum shall possess SPM or equivalent. \xef\x82\xb7 Shall have minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 work experience in the offshore Oil and Gas industry. \xef\x82\xb7 Shall have adequate experience and knowledge of the operations, techniques and equipment to be used pertaining to the WORK. \xef\x82\xb7 Shall be able to transcribe the progress of the WORK as reported to him into clear reports. \xef\x82\xb7 Record of competence to show meeting the competence requirements for the position. \xef\x82\xb7 Shall be fluent in spoken and written English. \xef\x82\xb7 Shall be conversant with the use of computers in inspection and reporting of the WORK offshore. The Operations Superintendent \xe2\x80\x93 ROV Campaign shall be a Malaysian.
