It\xe2\x80\x99s an opportunity to be part of something special.About the roleThis position is responsible for identifying and delivering Operational Excellence initiatives across all teams within the KL Site Quality Supply Chain:

• Executing on the site manufacturing excellence vision (short/medium and long term) by providing the subject matter expertise in Operational Excellence skills, actual hands-on delivery of projects in partnership with relevant teams and robust governance of delivery and benefits.
• Understand current business performance and identify the opportunities that will close the gap between current performance and the strategic goals.
• Deploy and embed a Continuous Improvement processes and culture across site teams.

Role Responsibilities

• Accountable for identification and implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Definition and prioritization of critical business needs by leveraging the opportunities and loss matrix.
• Creates a reservoir of improvement opportunities to close the gap between the current state and the vision.
• Roadmap of goals that includes KPIs and KAIs which allow measurement of progress.
• Trains, coaches and mentors to embed Continuous Improvement Culture and Capabilities where most needed across the site
• Visual Performance Management: Develop people\xe2\x80\x99s capability to reveal and solve problems to improve business performance
• Focused Improvement: Ability to apply data driven tools to identify and solve complex business issues.
• Value Stream Mapping (VSM): Implement Value Stream Mapping to see all parts of a process, identify gaps versus the desired state and illustrate the impact various solutions have on the end customer of the product/service
• Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE): Develops and implements OEE projects to deliver improved efficiencies driving cost reduction, improved agility, E2E LT and inventory reductions.
• Equipment Performance Improvement: Collaboratives with different functions to deploy Autonomous Maintenance, Break Down Analysis, Center Lining and can use reliability-based metrics in order to improve/maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Financial Benefit: Delivery of the financial savings targets of site from Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Why you?Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in any field.
• 5 years + Engineering and Manufacturing Operations or Operational Excellence experiences, GMP and continuous improvement such as lean
• Proven process understanding (Pharma, GMP) - Continuous improvement experience (Lean, 5S, Problem Solving).
• Considering Site scope, Complexity & Depth of the Role
• Experience in Manufacturing Technology/ Continuous Improvement.
• Have knowledge of manufacturing/ engineering processes and systems.
• Better understanding of complex problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Secondary Pharmaceutical solid dose OTC manufacturing standards, equipment, and validation life cycle is preferable.
• Strong coaching and development skill
• Team player willing to work x-functionally, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Influencing stakeholders and building partnerships to achieve results.
• Experience with Lean/Operational Excellence tools and drive process efficiency (Master Black Belt / Black Belt / Green belt \xe2\x80\x93 preferable).
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Using data effectively, computer literate. Good at Data interpretation, problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia (preferred).
• Project Management skills to support project execution.
