Job Description

We are looking for a

detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator

to join our operations team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on coordination, working with ports and authorities, and ensuring smooth shipment movements from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor daily operational activities, including incoming shipments, delivery arrangements, and stuffing/unstuffing operations. Coordinate equipment and logistics support for operational activities. Attend meetings and site visits when requested by customers. Track and monitor deliveries to customer sites across East Malaysia. Prepare

Customs Form K1

via the

SMK system

and follow up on K1 paper processing at airports and seaports when required. Liaise with port authorities, contractors, and service providers for inward and outward vessel movements. Communicate shipment status, delivery updates, and operational progress to customers clearly and promptly. Handle customer inquiries and ensure service requirements are met to a high satisfaction level. Ensure all operational and customs clearance documents are complete, accurate, and properly maintained. Identify operational issues and escalate them to the Superior in a timely manner. Comply with company Quality Management System (QMS) procedures in daily operations. Perform other operational or administrative duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in

Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain, Transportation

, or a related field. Experience in logistics, shipping, port operations, or freight forwarding is an advantage. Knowledge of

customs documentation (K1)

and port procedures is a plus. Good communication and coordination skills. Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Proficient in basic computer applications (email, Excel, documentation systems). Willing to attend site visits and liaise with customers and authorities when required.
