Derivatives Operations Confirmations Associate in Japan Desk

Location Description

The successful candidate will be working in Asia-Pacific Client Services based in Kuala Lumpur, primarily supporting Japanese clients.

The functions of this team include: confirmation matching and chasing, client service and break resolution, pre-confirmation of settlements, the maintenance of client & business reference data, supporting FO sales and MO, inter-regional stakeholder management, process review and uplift

Key Responsibilities:

• Partnering closely with middle office and sales to ensure high levels of client service
• Ensuring all trades are correct and accurately matched in a timely and risk-free manner
• Establishing an excellent relationship with both internal and external clients.
• Analysing and re-engineering existing processes

Essential Experience:

• Applicants must hold a degree or equivalent.
• Japanese language skills are a prerequisite due to the Japanese client base.
• Experience of handling Japanese clients on a regular basis a pre-requisite
