Detailed Description:

Candidate must have strong knowledge in electrical and mechanical failure troubleshooting. Good analytical skill to solve day to day process problems. Must be able to work with relatively minimum supervision and posseses strong decision making capabilities. Must have high level of team work attitude. Good communication skill. Must be willing to work on rotating shift pattern. Flexible to adopt new assignments.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Selected candidate should engage day to day machine, process and quality related matters within the assigned department. Must be work closely with manufacturing production group to achieve production goal. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Study and solve quality issues within the assigned processes. Troubleshoot equipment failures.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
Engineering Foundation Competencies
In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Good project management skills.
Computer literacy, MS Office Suite.
Excellent problem identification and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret product specifications, schematics and mechanical drawings.
Ability to use electrical and mechanical tools. i.e; multimeter, caliper
Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal customers.
Ability to effectively lead and train production operators or manufacturing specialist to achieve production goal

Physical Demands:
Duties of the position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.
Duties require extended periods of sustained visual concentration on detailed documentation and product assemblies.
Duties of the position require periodic light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motions, sitting in confined workspaces, using tools and equipment, and moving and handling materials.
Duties may require periodic heavy manual effort including lifting objects over 20 pounds.

Typical Experience:
3 to 4 years experiences in equipment engineering or manufacturing engineering
Knowledge in any of below listed equipment will be added advantage
i. Universal VCD88HT Axial Inserter
ii. Locator CS400 Ultra Cut Clinch Machine
iii. Elite PCB Router Machine
iv. Getech PCB Router Machine
v. Mascot Push Track System
vi. Kodera Wire Casting Machine

Typical Education:
Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
