Summary:
Quality Analyst is responsible for dealing with the three major phases of Quality Management - Quality Planning/Prevention, Corrective Action, and Continual Improvement and work with team to achieve all quality KPIs.

Detailed Description:

  • Working knowledge of Out-going inspection
  • Strong understanding of documentation processes & quality systems.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards.
  • Act as role of customers\' representatives.
  • Verify the EOL (End of Line) data and sent to customer as per requested frequency
  • Certify the End of Line Trainers and Operators
  • Support EOL in term of Quality issue and monitor in process yield to ensure that they are in control for EOL.
  • Report the quality of the product as seen by the customers
  • Able to perform basic trouble shooting based on the documents
  • Understand and responsible for the R&R
  • Feedback the new defects to HP with required information
  • Ensure the data accuracy and send out daily EOL reports
  • Work with Production and Engineering group to determine root cause corrective/preventive action plan regarding internal quality issues
  • Implement appropriate tools to monitor critical processes defined by process engineer (i.e. control chart, histogram, Cp & Cpk, GR&R etc.) for the EOL
  • Facilitate communication between factory and customers on quality related matters
  • Coordinate actions to be carried out in meeting the customers\' representative
  • Coordinate with respective engineers regularly to prevent occurrence of product non-conformity during production run.
  • Language in English and Malay.
  • Enhance the quality skills and product knowledge through the training program.
  • Accomplish the jobs assignment from the superior and participate in the quality strategy deployment.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: * Knowledge of quality tools, ISO and IPC standards and processes
  • Knowledge of software as used in generating reports capturing data & presenting data in an understandable format
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes Understands quality tools such as FMEA, PMP, SPC, 8D methodology, etc.
  • Understand Six Sigma and Lean Kaizen.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the business unit and how decisions impact customer satisfaction product quality,on-time delivery, and profitability of the unit
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers
Physical Demands: * Repetitive manual movements (e.g., keyboarding)
  • Sustained visual concentration on small areas, such as monitors, screens
  • Sustained visual concentration on numbers, legal documents
  • The duties of this position are performed in a normal shift. The weekend may be required upon request.
  • Typical Experience:
  • 2 to 3 years (2 - 3 years)
Typical Education: * Bachelor\'s Degree
