17-hour operation (Shift-based: Morning & Night)

Position Summary

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day warehouse and transport operations to ensure safety, productivity, service quality, and contractual compliance. This role supports warehouse operations management, oversees manpower and equipment performance, and ensures inbound and outbound activities are executed efficiently and accurately.

The position reports directly to the

Warehouse Operations Manager

and plays a critical role in maintaining operational discipline, safety standards, and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Process

Supervise daily warehouse operations, including

inbound, outbound, and stock reconciliation

activities. Manage daily task allocation, shift scheduling, and manpower deployment. Monitor attendance, productivity, and operational exceptions; report and act accordingly. Ensure daily compliance with

driver, fleet, and forklift operations

. Monitor forklift performance, driver behaviour, and equipment utilization. Conduct random inspections and ensure proper maintenance reporting for MHE. Investigate, document, and report incidents and safety breaches. Ensure warehouse operations comply with contract requirements, SOPs, and HSSE standards. Execute operational activities in line with business unit objectives.

Customer & Service Management

Ensure fulfilment of customer warehousing and logistics requirements. Maintain strong working relationships with customers to support service level achievements. Handle internal and external operational queries in a professional and timely manner. Prepare accurate operational and compliance documentation. Proactively identify customer needs, operational gaps, and improvement opportunities.

People & Team Management

Supervise warehouse staff and forklift operators to ensure productivity and compliance. Identify and recommend training requirements for forklift operators and warehouse personnel. Provide regular feedback and support performance improvement initiatives. Minimise operational disruptions related to manpower, industrial, or people-related issues. Support payroll, attendance verification, and leave processing. Ensure compliance with company policies, including

Fatigue Management

requirements. Promote a positive, disciplined, and safety-driven work culture.

Safety, Compliance & HSSE

Actively participate in and lead HSSE programs and initiatives on site. Ensure compliance with statutory safety, environmental, and operational regulations. Maintain safe working conditions, equipment standards, and site presentation. Uphold company reputation through professional conduct and operational discipline.

Continuous Improvement & Cost Control

Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and resource utilization. Recommend system and workflow improvements to reduce operational costs. Support management in implementing operational efficiency initiatives.

Education, Experience & Skills

Proven experience in

warehouse and transport operations

, preferably FMCG. Strong knowledge of

warehouse safety, HSE, and MHE operations

. Good analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Proficient in

Microsoft Excel and Word

. Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills. Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, shift-based environment. High level of integrity, maturity, and professional judgment. Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills. Flexible and willing to take on ad-hoc operational tasks.

Performance Indicators

Consistent delivery of high-quality, error-free operations. Zero delivery failures and minimized operational disruptions. Effective forklift driver utilization and reduced absenteeism/turnover. Minimal customer complaints and strong customer satisfaction. Compliance with contract service levels and safety requirements. Well-maintained records and smooth daily warehouse operations.
