The number of countries supported by NGSC KL FRA Operations Team that delivers financial reporting and accounting services, financial compliance and process expertise in the areas of Record to Report, Request to Pay, Procure to Pay, Travel and Expense and Invoice to Cash. As part of the Novartis FRA Operations team, this is a key P2P and T&E role for you to make change happen and give positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Managers to support financial activities, decision making and general projects. Provide timely, proactive support on the general ledger and maintain accurate and timely fixed asset information in the fixed asset register including assets under construction and depreciation calculations.
  • Prepare analysis or reporting with particular emphasis on accuracy, compliance and timeliness of data provided (i.e.: reports on profit and loss activity) and provide all data needed for internal (Financial Consolidation and Reporting System) and external reporting (including statutory accounts, national statistics and tax information) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provides \'first line support\' on SAP issues including fixed assets, cash and general ledger and ensures effective transitions/ knowledge transfer and executions, monitoring of deliverables and proactive in driving results.
  • Contribute to key projects at country or BU level. The P2P Ops Expert review, reconcile and complete P2P critical/ sensitive transactions, controls and reporting. This role supports operational improvements and cross-country alignment, standardization and automation. Ensure strong quality assurance and strict adherence to Novartis policies and drive strategies with positive impact on the Key metric/KPI as well as provides highly effective and efficient end-to-end processes to the Novartis business.
  • Support compliance on its area of responsibility, as well as ensures systems, documentation and proper reporting is in place. This role will collaborate with internal Novartis GPO, P2P Business Partners, Hub and ECI P2P ops, as well as business partners and external suppliers to enable operational excellence as well as process and system efficiency initiatives, while keeping controls and reporting. Service Delivery:
  • Implement and continuously improve the GR/IR End-to-End and related processes within Accounts Payable for APMA region (NGSC KL countries). Implement quality of reconciliations and make sure that they follow Novartis standards (keep close communication with R2R & BPA functions).
Minimum requirements

What you\'ll bring to the role:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Accounting / Finance.
  • 3-5+ years accounting experience, with in-depth functional & process expertise in P2P / AP Process.
  • Proficient in both English and Thai language as this role will require constant communication and dealings with our business users, partners and counterparts in assigned region.
  • Work efficiently in a multi-national, matrix organization P2P / R2P/ AP expertise.
  • Moderate to Advanced Expertise in P2P SAP processes and T-Codes. Exposure to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in collaborating remote 3rd party supplier relationships. Previous Experience with Reporting and Analysis - Minimum intermediate Excel skills.
  • Must have E2E knowledge of the Procure to Pay (P2P) process (Supplier Master data, callback process to eliminate fraud case.)
