Key responsibilities
Design and concept development: Create original packaging designs for new and existing products, focusing on aesthetics, functionality, and brand consistency.
Prototyping:
Develop physical prototypes and mockups to evaluate the design's appearance, feel, and structural integrity.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams like marketing, product development, and production to meet project requirements and business goals.
Technical and regulatory compliance:
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and production limitations.
Material and process knowledge: Select appropriate materials and understand manufacturing processes to create feasible and
cost-effective packaging.
Design improvement: Review and suggest improvements for existing packaging designs.
Required skills and qualifications
Technical skills:
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and knowledge of CAD technology.
Design knowledge: Expertise in typography, color theory, materials science, and structural design.
Creativity:
Ability to develop innovative and unique design solutions.
