Fremantle Print, a leading printing company specializing in POP Display & POSM is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Packaging and Labeling Supervisor to join our team. As the Packaging and Labeling Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective packaging and labeling of our printed materials for shipping and distribution.
Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain packaging standards and guidelines for various printed materials
• Develop packaging specifications, including material selection, packaging techniques, and labeling requirements
• Implement quality control measures to ensure packaging meets company standards and customer expectations
• Conduct regular inspections of packaging processes and address any quality issues or concerns
• Optimize packaging processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  Ensure accurate and compliant labeling based on customer requirements and regulatory guidelines
• Manage documentation related to packaging, such as packing lists, shipping labels, and customs documentation
• Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure adequate stock of packaging materials
• Lead and supervise the packaging and labeling team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
• Coordinate packaging activities with other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with packaging regulations, hazardous materials handling, and transportation requirements
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment for the packaging and labeling department

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in packaging and labeling, preferably in the printing industry
• Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience - Certification in packaging or related field is a plus
• Previous experience in packaging and labeling, preferably in the printing industry
• Proven knowledge of packaging materials, techniques, and labeling standards
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and packaging software
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles
• Ability to optimize packaging processes for efficiency
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with relevant packaging regulations and safety protocols
• Proficiency in using packaging and labeling software/tools is an advantage
  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to packaging operations
