Role: Operations Supervisor \xe2\x80\x93 Ocean Freight Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia The company: JBAndrews are currently working with a global freight forwarding company who are presently searching for an Operations Supervisor to lead their Import and Export Ocean freight department. The company are looking for someone who can develop the department and improve the Ocean freight operations in Malaysia. The Role:
- Lead the department handling all import & export sea freight operations.
- Drive customer improvements
- Steer the operations in line with internal procedures.
- Coordinate with ocean carrier , co-loaders, agent, warehouse, and transport companies for all operational activities on daily basis.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree educated ideally
- 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience in Freight Forwarding operations.
- Experienced in Cargowise is a plus
- Experienced in Malaysian market.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
- Detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
