Job Overview:

The Part-Time Event Crew plays a key role in ensuring the smooth setup, operation, and wrap-up of events organized by the cafe or brand. This role requires a hands-on, energetic, and service-oriented individual who can support the team in delivering a high-quality guest experience during events, functions, or special occasions.
The position reports directly to the Event Supervisor or Cafe Manager and works closely with the kitchen, service, and operations team.

Event Setup & Preparation

Assist in the setup of event venues including tables, chairs, decorations, audio-visual equipment, and signage. Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the event area before guest arrival. Support in receiving and organizing event materials and supplies.

During Event Operations

Welcome and assist guests with directions, seating, or information. Support F&B service such as food passing, beverage refills, and clearing used items. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the event duration. Assist in controlling crowd flow and ensuring guest safety.

Event Closing & Wrap-up

Assist in dismantling, cleaning, and packing after the event. Return all event items and equipment to their proper storage locations. Report any damages, losses, or issues to the Event Supervisor.

Teamwork & Communication

Work collaboratively with event leaders and team members to ensure smooth operations. Follow instructions promptly and maintain a positive, helpful attitude.

Customer Service

Uphold the cafe's standards of service, friendliness, and professionalism. Handle guest requests courteously and promptly.

Job Requirements

Minimum age: 18 years old. Preferably with experience in event setup, catering, or F&B service (training provided). Physically fit and able to lift or carry moderate loads. Able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays. Punctual, reliable, and well-groomed. Good communication and teamwork skills.
