Pastry & Baker Sous Chef

Job Description
- Report to Head Baker and assist on monitoring daily operations, ensuring the standard of procedures been followed accordingly.
- Assist in creating new recipes for upcoming products and preparing for food tasting
- Maintains a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness in accordance with the company, client policies and statutory requirements.
- Consistently doing quality check on all products to maintain product quality & presentation.
- Manages labour hours effectively and on scale appropriate to business needs
- Monitors stock inventory and makes appropriate orders within the budget.
- Organize all necessary food requisition and food transfer
- Minimum 4 years experience in pastry or bakery baking
- Knowledge of French pastry or bread baking experience within hospitality industry, ideally in a high-volume production environment.
- Knowledge in using Microsoft Office & Excel
- Able to travel to work within Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya.
