Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
Designing and improving recipes to ensure products are up to the highest standard of the industry.
Decorating and displaying finished products.
Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
Keeping records relating to inventory and production levels.
Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
Supervising and training staff members, when needed.
Job Requirements:
Previous work experience as a Cake Baker.
Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills.
Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products.
Knowledge of sanitation regulations
Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.
Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field is a plus.
Culinary school degree/diploma is a plus.
