Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare, bake and decorate pastries, desserts, breads and other baked goods Develop new menu, test and refine pastry and dessert recipes including seasonal items Plan and manage production schedule for pastry items Ensure consistent quality, presentation, taste and portioning of all pastry/dessert products Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food-safety in pastry/kitchen area, proper handling of ingredients Order and manage pastry supplies to ensure smooth operations of the pastry section Manage inventory to reduce waste, optimize use of ingredients, and keep costs within target margins Collaborate with kitchen management on menu planning, dessert menu design and cost control

Skills & Qualities:



Strong baking, pastry and dessert-making knowledge and technical skills (pastry doughs, creams, decorating, plating) Creativity and attention to detail (for presentation, taste, new recipes) Good organizational and time-management skills (to manage prep, baking, service schedule) Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards Ability to work under pressure
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
