The Payroll Analyst is responsible for verifying and validating payroll data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission to the appointed payroll service provider. This role acts as the key liaison between GTR and the external payroll vendor, ensuring smooth payroll operations, statutory compliance, and accurate employee compensation.
-Collect, validate, and reconcile payroll-related data (attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, etc.) prior to submission to the payroll vendor.
-Ensure payroll inputs are accurate, complete, and in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
-Coordinate with the 3rd party payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
-Review vendor prepared payroll reports and confirm accuracy before final approval.
-Ensure compliance with statutory contributions and deductions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.).
- Prepare internal payroll summaries, cost analysis, and reports for management.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in accordance with data confidentiality standards.
- Provide timely support in responding to employee payroll-related queries.
- Assist in statutory and internal audits by providing payroll-related documentation and reports.
- Keep abreast of changes in payroll regulations and statutory requirements and ensure compliance.
