Job Description

To assist the Site Manager to manage and execute all field work.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for steel structure construction technology and site management;
• Review the technical part of the bidding documents for steel structures;
• Coordinate the construction unit and the supervision unit to deal with on-site problems;
• Responsible for various concealed acceptance, sub-item acceptance and completion acceptance of the project;
• Do a good job in collecting technical data related to this project;
• Responsible for preparation of construction plan and plan review. Responsible for daily construction management and quality

control;

• Handling and coordinating the affairs related to relevant external government departments and units;
• Other tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
• Be good in structural sense with positive working attitude.
• Be familiar with Euro Code and Standards, local Standards and Authority requirements.
• Manage drafting staff and check drawings to ensure compliance with design concept and keep them updated of any revisions.
• Attend design coordination meeting and progress meeting during design and construction period.
• Liaise and coordinate with Clients, all other Consultants and contractors for design requirements, project details and technical

issues.

• Conduct site inspection, identify and resolve potential design related issues during the construction period.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, general contractors, fabricators and other professionals.
• Involve in supervising projects and provide progress report.
• Make sure projects meet authorities requirements.

Requirement:

• Diploma or above, major in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent;
• More than 3 to 5 years working experience in steel structure in industrial workshop and experience in site construction

management, especially quality and schedule management, familiar with the key points of steel structure quality control and
management of steel structure on-site supervision.

• Familiar with steel structure business, steel structure construction process, have the relevant professional knowledge, familiar

with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD software system;

• Able to independently compile work reports, meeting minutes and other documents.
• Must be willing to work in Kulim.
• Good experience in geotechnical works design will be an advantage.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Candidates with strong relevant years of experience will be considered for senior roles.
• Able to produce detailed layout drawings
• Experience in Tensile Membrane, ETFE Skylight and Steelwork design is an advantage
• Good command of English
