The P&C Senior Executive, Talent & Learning plays a vital role in driving World Vision Malaysia's talent management and learning agenda to support organizational growth, performance excellence, and staff development.
This role focuses on coordinating end-to-end talent acquisition and development processes, ensuring the right people are hired, nurtured, and equipped to contribute effectively to the organization's mission. It involves designing and implementing learning programs, supporting performance management processes, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and capability growth aligned with World Vision's values and strategic priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
+ Coordinate and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer management.
+ Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and talent requirements aligned with organizational goals.
+ Develop creative sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines for key and future roles.
+ Manage onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition and strong engagement of new hires.
+ Maintain recruitment records, dashboards, and performance metrics to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
Learning & Development (L&D)
+ Support the design and implementation of organization-wide training plans that address individual, departmental, and organizational needs.
+ Coordinate and manage all learning-related administration such as training calendars, attendance tracking, evaluation forms, and reporting.
+ Research and identify suitable external training partners and programs; coordinate with vendors and trainers for customized content.
+ Assist in planning and executing leadership development, functional upskilling, and values-based learning programs.
+ Evaluate training effectiveness and track learning impact through post-program follow-up and reporting.
Performance & Talent Management
+ Support the execution of the performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and year-end evaluations.
+ Ensure job descriptions, competencies, and performance standards are updated and aligned with WVM's framework.
+ Assist in the implementation of the Job Level & Competency Framework and facilitate training for managers on performance evaluation practices.
+ Support data collection and analysis for talent calibration, succession planning, and workforce planning.
+ Maintain performance-related documentation and ensure confidentiality and compliance with P&C policies.
Talent Development Initiatives
+ Contribute to the development of engagement and recognition initiatives that build staff motivation and retention.
+ Partner with leadership to identify high-potential staff and coordinate development plans for career growth.
+ Promote cross-departmental learning and mentoring programs that align with WVM's culture of collaboration and growth.
Spiritual Nurturing & Organizational Culture
+ Encourage and model spiritual growth through daily interactions and organizational activities that reflect World Vision's Christian ethos.
+ Support initiatives that integrate faith, purpose, and professional excellence in the workplace.
+ Promote a culture of care, unity, and service within the team and across departments.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related discipline.
+ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR, with exposure to both recruitment and learning & development.
+ Experience in performance management and talent development preferred.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
+ Good command of written and spoken English (Mandarin proficiency is an advantage).
