Through our network approach we manage local specifics and complexity by leveraging geographical proximity and cross-divisional capabilities. To ensure that we operate on a common foundation our networks navigate within three regions (APAC, EMEA, AMERICAS) to enable global alignment on our PR strategy and a OneRoche mindset.

The PR Advisor partners flexibly and mostly virtually with leaders and individual contributors across the globe, offering on-demand, ad-hoc support on all standard People Relations matters. The PR Advisor will ensure a fair and consistent approach to all people policies and ways of working. This role will apply a global lens as the first point of contact for PR related questions, directional guidance and provide support for policy interpretation, performance management, feedback and coaching for people leaders and individual contributors. This position will partner closely with the PR AoP team in order to diagnose, escalate/handoff complex PR matters.

Responsibilities

  • Consults and provides advice, counsel and resolution to employees and managers on a broad range of people relations matters, including policy interpretation and application, conflict resolution, performance management, progressive discipline and termination processes and practices
  • Ensures full ownership of incoming requests, prioritization and solution implementation to provide PR consultation to leaders and individual contributors with a connected and caring approach
  • Utilizes case management system to track and manage PR matters to resolution
  • Assists with document creation as issue require
  • Participates in global / regional squads for deployment of key PR and P&C initiatives or new system launches
  • Ensures alignment and execution of established policies, procedures and global P&C initiatives. Ensure compliance of all PR and P&C practices within legislative requirements and established standards and guidelines by building a broad knowledge base on regional approaches and connecting with global PR colleagues.
  • Coordinates and partners with PSS colleagues on the processing of terminations and ensuring completion of necessary documentation
  • Monitors and analyzes PR data, and recommend organization-wide and/or client specific interventions to address identified trends
  • Works globally and engages with colleagues in varying cultures and time zones
Who You Are
  • Passionate and knowledgeable People Relations professional with ability to work in a fast paced global and virtual environment.
  • Experience and understanding of how to navigate complex reporting relationships and attend to multiple cultures
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate the P&C system, leverage different Chapters for business impact and participate in flexible squads to deliver on business and P&C strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, as well as work independently
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and respond to needs/issues quickly
Key Skills / Capabilities
  • Strong knowledge and capability for interpreting and communicating employment laws and policy
  • Excellent at speaking, reading and writing Korean and English
  • Understanding of Korean Employment Regulations and practices will be a plus
  • Detail oriented with very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a valuable partner and trusted advisor to all levels of management
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills and collaborative style
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and competing deadlines
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality as trusted advisor
  • Ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to provide difficult feedback to employees, managers and leaders at all levels to avoid and resolve conflict
  • Strong customer centricity, end-to-end accountability, problem-solving skills, growth & agile mindset in ambiguous situations
  • Drive the delivery of people relations related data needs, execute and regularly report on progress
