Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Performance Test Engineer

with hands-on expertise in

LoadRunner

and related performance testing tools. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of system performance metrics, and the ability to design and execute end-to-end performance testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, design, and execute

performance, load, and stress testing

activities. Develop, maintain, and execute

performance test scripts

using

LoadRunner

(Performance Center / VuGen). Analyze test results and identify system bottlenecks, performance issues, and optimization opportunities. Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to resolve performance defects. Create detailed test reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for review. Utilize monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g.,

HP SiteScope, HP Diagnostics, DynaTrace

) during test cycles. Write and execute

SQL queries

to validate backend performance and data integrity. Work with applications built using

Java and C

to understand performance dependencies.

Required Skills and Experience

3+ years

of experience in

Performance Testing

. Strong hands-on experience with

LoadRunner / Performance Center / VuGen

. Experience with

JMeter

or other open-source tools is a plus. Proficiency in

Java

and

C programming languages

. Strong knowledge of

SQL

and database performance validation. Familiarity with

monitoring tools

such as

HP SiteScope, HP Diagnostics, and DynaTrace

. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to

cloud or container-based environments

(AWS, Kubernetes, Docker) is an advantage. Experience with CI/CD integration for performance testing. ISTQB or performance testing-related certifications are desirable.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,819.15 - RM10,000.00 per month
