About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Performance Tester

with strong hands-on expertise in performance testing tools such as

LoadRunner

and

JMeter

. The ideal candidate will design, execute, and analyze performance tests while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure application scalability, stability, and reliability. Additional experience with scripting, automation tools, and Agile processes will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct performance testing using

LoadRunner

and

JMeter

based on business and technical requirements. Analyse performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and provide detailed recommendations. Prepare performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, and execution strategies. Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to understand system architecture and performance needs. Support forecasting, capacity planning, and performance requirement gathering. Document results, defects, and performance insights clearly and effectively. Work within Agile teams, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and test planning activities. Ensure adherence to testing methodologies, quality standards, and best practices. Develop scripts using

VBScript, Java, or C

where necessary. Contribute to delivery execution, timeline creation, and reporting.

Mandatory Skills

Experience with performance testing processes, standards, and frameworks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Professional Experience

Experience working in an

Agile environment

Familiarity with professional software engineering practices: Requirement gathering Performance forecasting Delivery execution Timeline creation Documentation and reporting Exposure to SDLC and STLC best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred) 3-5 years of proven experience in performance testing
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
