Job Description

:

• Acting as an interpreter between wide range of Chinese, Indian and other nationalities persons.
• Providing clear and exact translations of written materials and interpretations of verbal communication.
• Convert documentation, text and audio recordings from one language to one or more others.
• Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone.
• Cross-reference specialised dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation.
• Partake in language fluency assessments to certify fluency.
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure that translations are true to original meaning.
• Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy.
• Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure that they are satisfied with the translation.

• Preferably female aged 25 to 30 years old
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking mandarin (additional languages is advantageous)
• Minimum Degree holder (preferably studying linguistics)
• Willing to work in Dubai, UAE
• Willing to work 9am to 6pm
• Willing to take on call duties
• Experience as professional translator/Interpreter for more than 3 years
