Job Purpose

Key Outcome: Personalized Healthcare is intrinsic to the healthcare ecosystem and patient journeys resulting in better health outcomes

Accountable for embedding PHC as a way of providing care with HCPs

Embedding data collection and sharing frameworks to measure outcomes and costs, e.g., retrospective and/or prospective real-world data initiatives such as disease/genomic registries, cost-minimization analysis, claims data etc.

The PHC Partner is:

An affiliate based, integrated enabling role (a role with scientific, medical and commercial aspects) with substantial customer interaction.

Drives the development and execution of the overall affiliate PHC strategy, in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholder (e.g., disease area / ecosystem teams, healthcare systems partners, GM Squad and Roche Diagnostics) and external stakeholders (e.g., TAEs, HCPs, advocates and government representatives).

In collaboration with the disease area / ecosystem teams, identify and anticipate the needs of customers in order to co-create and develop integrated PHC solutions along the patient journey together with different stakeholders that provide the maximum benefit to patients and are aligned with Roche\'s vision, strategy and outcomes for personalized health care.

Bringing relevant and in-depth PHC expertise to internal colleagues and external stakeholders/customers, demonstrating strong customer centricity and collaboration skills.

Supports PJPs and HSPs on PHC topics and operates in an aligned and coordinated fashion with the PPoCs, typically triggered by them for in-depth PHC discussions with their customers.

In executing the PHC strategy, the PHC Partner provides subject matter expertise and actively engages with external stakeholders in collaboration with HSPs and other internal teams to proactively shape the ecosystem and advance he environment for PHC in Malaysia.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Applies and provides to the internal teams and external customers knowledge and expertise of the different diagnostic methods, including IHC, FISH, SISH, biomarkers, NGS/CGP/molecular diagnosis, FMI and liquid biopsy as well as digital health; keeps the organization abreast of developments in PHC and the competitive landscape.

Act as main point of contact for FMI products and solutions including the launch of new products, pricing strategies, forecasting, logistics and customer experience

Monitors and supports the participation in NGS/CGP tenders, liaising with the tender department (if any)

Forms and acts as the main point of contact for the PHC Pod, consisting of representatives from disease area teams, Roche Diagnostics, and others as needed, and is responsible to ensure development of an overall affiliate PHC strategy as well as the focus, prioritization and resourcing of PHC outcomes as part of the agreed local affiliate outcomes based plan & strategy for PHC

Be accountable for accelerating and successfully implementing PHC-related initiatives and experiments through strong and ongoing engagement and co-creation with selected internal and external stakeholders.

Leads and oversees OneRoche (i.e., Roche Pharma and Roche Diagnostics) collaborations (incl ACCORD programs) and outcomes in specific disease areas.

Strongly collaborate with DIA in joint initiative on patient identification & testing in oncology.

Supports the selection of centers for clinical trials; maintains regular contacts with the investigators of the key studies, in coordination with the local medical team and if necessary provides the insights that may arise during the studies.

Supports the local medical enablers in the evaluation of IIS proposals for PHC and/or GCP/NGS-related studies, and provide advice and expertise as needed on other evidence generation programs and proposals to elevate PHC perspective, to ensure alignment with the mid and long-term outcomes for PHC

Liaise with other PHC-related functions, and is connected and engages with colleagues across the organization in a global network. While the PHC Partner will primarily operate within the local organization, it is expected that a PHC Partner will dedicate some time to network initiatives and support for colleagues and potentially customers from other affiliates.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills including partnering with Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs) and organizations is required. Experience partnering with Patient Advocacy Groups (PGAs) is highly desired.

Experience in both formulating cross-functional strategies and orchestrating cross-functional teams

Strong eye for business with desired expertise in commercialization, medical and customer experience excellence

Able to understand and use digital means and tools

Deep experience in agile ways of working is desired

Deep knowledge of patient journey(s) and related treatments in defined disease area(s), enabling engagement at the specialist level.

Broad understanding of Roche\xe2\x80\x99s present portfolio and future pipeline, such that they can work on future-based solutions

Robust understanding of medical affairs strategies and tactics including clinical research.
