The

Compounding Pharmacist

is responsible for delivering safe, accurate, and innovative customized medications that meet patients' unique health needs.

This role ensures compliance with Good Compounding Practice (GCP 2018), regulatory standards, and Alpro's commitment to medication safety. Beyond preparation, the pharmacist serves as a trusted partner to patients and healthcare professionals, driving Alpro's vision of

a healthy and vibrant world.

Key Responsibilities

Compounding & Quality Assurance

Prepare customized medications (e.g., hormone therapy, dermatological formulations, pediatric doses, veterinary compounding) in compliance with

Good Compounding Practice (GCP 2018)

, Poisons Act 1952, and MOH guidelines. Ensure accuracy, sterility, and stability of formulations. Maintain batch records, SOPs, and compliance documentation.

Patient & Healthcare Professional Engagement

Counsel patients and collaborate with prescribers on individualized therapy options. Support physicians, dentists, and specialists in optimizing patient outcomes via compounding.

Operational Excellence

Uphold GDP, compounding practice guideline, and internal Alpro compounding SOPs. Conduct stability studies, raw material sourcing verification, and equipment calibration. Supervise assistants/trainees and provide ongoing training.

Innovation & Growth

Explore new compounding opportunities (e.g., nutraceuticals, dermatology, pain management, pediatric care). Contribute ideas to expand Alpro's precision medicine and personalized care offerings

Roles Requirements:

Education/Academic Qualification:

Bachelor of Pharmacy (recognized by Pharmacy Board Malaysia). Valid Annual Retention Certificate (ARC).

Work Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in compounding (preferred) but fresh pharmacists with strong interest in compounding are encouraged to apply.

Language Skills:

English, Malay, Mandarin (Mandarin is not compulsory)

IT Skills:

Basic computing and ability to use Ai tool.
