Job Description


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Report to workstation according to schedule (15 minutes early) with high standard of personal appearance and hygiene with clean and presses uniforms and name tag. 2. Greets all patients, customers, visitors and colleagues with the appropriate greetings. 3. To provide an efficient and effective in- patient / outpatient physiotherapy service to patient with a diverse range of clinical conditions as a result of illness or disability referred by the medical team. \xc2\xb7 Evaluate relevant information to plan the range and sequence of assessment required. \xc2\xb7 Act independently to assess using appropriate assessment tools and analyses findings. \xc2\xb7 Provide a clinical diagnosis for individual patients to determine the goal and outcomes for physiotherapy intervention. \xc2\xb7 Act independently to plan, implement treatment that is consistent with evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines/protocol, treat and progress patient care to maximize rehabilitations potential. \xc2\xb7 Monitor and review the implementation of treatment and make changes within agreed protocols and pathways for clinical effectiveness and meet goal of treatment. \xc2\xb7 Manage an individual caseload of patient effectively and efficiently. \xc2\xb7 Liaise with senior Physiotherapists to gain support and direction in management to the caseload and perceived problems. \xc2\xb7 Work as part of a team to ensure effective communication and delivery of care. \xc2\xb7 Maintain patient documentation to set standards. \xc2\xb7 Maintain records and accurate statistical information to reflect care provide and meet professional standards. \xc2\xb7 100% compulsory to complete the case note each patient after the patient treatment. \xc2\xb7 Communicate and make recommendations to all relevant disciplines of staff to maximize patients care and promote multidisciplinary team working.

  • Work independently to provide physiotherapy on-call care to support delivery of the 24-hour service to acutely ill patients.
4. Participation in Service Development. \xc2\xb7 To ensure good personal time management punctuality and consistent reliable attendance as KPI department set for the staff. \xc2\xb7 Compulsory participate in the department personal development and performance review system to promote personal and service development. \xc2\xb7 Compulsory participate in clinical audit to support the physiotherapy service clinical governance strategy. 5. Maintenance of safety & Health in the department. \xc2\xb7 Being conversant and compliant with all safety & health procedures \xc2\xb7 Reporting any potential hazards, \xe2\x80\x98near-misses\xe2\x80\x99, incidents or injuries that may occur during the course of work to the senior physiotherapist/ manager. \xc2\xb7 Using safe techniques in transportation and handling of patients/equipment. \xc2\xb7 Following all safety protocols for electrotherapy equipment. \xc2\xb7 Attending all compulsory and relevant health & safety training. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: Minimum Degree Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate Salary: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month Benefits:
