Position:

Physiotherapy and Care Services Manager

Role Responsibilities:

Physiotherapy Care & Services

Perform mobility and rehabilitation assessments for elderly residents Develop personalised treatment plans focusing on strength, balance, and recovery Deliver physiotherapy treatments such as gait training, therapeutic exercises, and post-surgery rehabilitation Monitor therapy progress and update plans as needed Provide mobility and safety guidance to family members and caregivers Conduct training for staff on safe handling and fall prevention Maintain clear and accurate physiotherapy records

Operational & Facility Management

Ensure daily operations of the elder care centre run smoothly and efficiently Establish and review procedures related to care delivery and administration Coordinate therapy schedules, staffing, and inventory needs Maintain equipment and facility safety standards

Staff Supervision & Leadership

Lead and supervise staff including therapists, caregivers, nurses, and administrative personnel Provide mentorship, training, and support to team members Conduct performance reviews and enforce discipline where necessary Promote a professional and supportive team culture

Resident Care Quality & Compliance

Ensure the highest standards of elder care are consistently delivered Collaborate with medical professionals to coordinate resident care Address resident feedback and concerns promptly Keep up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry standards Manage licence renewals and prepare for inspections

Financial & Community Engagement

Support budgeting, cost monitoring, and expense control Review and ensure billing accuracy for therapy services Build positive relationships with residents' families and health partners Represent the centre in outreach activities and community initiatives

Other Responsibilities

Participate in weekly and monthly management meetings Assist with tasks delegated by upper management

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy Minimum 2 years' clinical experience with at least 1 year in a leadership position Experience in elderly or rehabilitation care is a strong advantage Knowledgeable in rehab planning, mobility training, and fall prevention techniques Strong communication, decision-making, and team management skills Familiarity with electronic medical records is an added advantage

Languages:

Bahasa Malaysia (Required) English (Required) Mandarin (Preferred)

Salary Range:

RM6,000 - RM7,500
